Soyo FreeStyler 500 Bluetooth Headset - $0.99!

This bluetooth headset is available for $10.99 from Buy.com. But, if you check out using Google Checkout (first time users only), you get $10 off. How’s that for a deal?

Now, we haven’t reviewed this particular headset, so we can’t vouch for its quality. But it’s 99 cents, right? Still, it’s lightweight with a removable and adjustable earclip and has a claimed 4-6 hours of talk time.

WOOT-OFF!

Super 3G Wireless Field Tested

NTT DoCoMo has just announced that they’ve successfully field tested a Super 3G wireless network that reached downlink speeds of 250Mbps (the technology’s theoretical maximums are a 300Mbps downlink and a 75Mbps uplink, so 250 down ain’t too bad). Unfortunately, given that DoCoMo doesn’t plan on having the technology finalized until 2009, the world won’t be basking in 300ish Mbps mobile bliss just yet.

Now the company appears to be on the warpath, suing Wal-Mart, Target, GameStop, Amazon, Toys ‘R’ Us and Kmart in an attempt to get the game off of store shelves. Reportedly, Gibson took “this action reluctantly, but is required to protect its intellectual property.”  The games are still available but get em before they are gone…
