You’d think that people would realize that even if a GPS is able to tell you where to go, you still need to have some sort of brains just in case something that the GPS can’t forsee is prohibiting you from taking that route. But once again, my expectations have been shattered.
A truck driver in Boston simply took the GPS at its word and didn’t bother worrying about the low clearance bridge which was on the route he was about to take. After slamming into a bridge at 70mph, he decides that he needs to blame the GPS, and not his half of a brain.
