I’d seriously consider getting a dog if I got one of these. BUT, I’d have to get the cannon first. Then THINK about getting the dog.

I’ve been waiting impatiently for this product to appear. You can now control your buddies USB Missle Launcher with MSN Messenger. Why would you NOT want to do that? Just wait for him to point it at his face at point blank range and SURPRISE! Unfortunately, the webcam attached to the top of the missle launcher does not come with crosshairs.
We were just wishing for a pocket sized guitar amp built from an Altoids tin when along came the Fairy of ROCK… she wailed with face melting guitar solo and *POOF* there it was in our hands… The Mint Tin Pocket Guitar Amp… We plugged in a guitar and some headphones and started to rock out fresh style.
As the fairy explained, each one of these mini amps is made by hand from an actual Altoids mint tin. The fairy removes the mints and eats them (thus her incredibly fresh breath). She then solders the electronics together, adds some jacks, a volume control and a red LED… and voila! Ready for you to plug in a standard electric guitar and some headphones. Surprisingly you get a nice tone and plenty of volume from this diminutive amp.

The race to release the world’s first mobile projector continues to heat up with the word that 3M has found a “leading consumer electronics company” to help get its product out the door. It appears that the product in question is the same half-inch thick LED illuminated projection engine that 3M was shopping around back in January. 3M vows not to release the identity of the partner company, but if things move forward as planned, 3M could snatch the “first to market” spot from the likes of companies like Texas Instruments and Microvision. Estimates put the price point of the device at around $300-$400 at launch with prices falling to $150 in five years.
I need one. I could be sitting on my porch pounding down a 6pk (of Mountain Dew of course, right wife?), watching this thing do its thing while my poor sap of a neighbor walks the 3 miles it takes to produce a nicely pruned lawn. SUCKA!

If you’re both cheap and enjoy losing your eye thanks to a flying CD shard, take a look at this home-made USB Cooler. All you have to do is take an old CD, cut it up like a fan, melt it down so you can twist the shards, stick a cork in the middle, hook up a few wires to a little motor, hook that up to a USB port, and you’re good to go. If you’re really lucky, nothing will happen and you’ll get a nice breeze. If you’re unlucky, however, say goodbye to your corneas.
